Originally from Maryland, Christine came down south to attend the University of South Carolina and has been in SC ever since! She spent 9 years in the world of hospitality at Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort where she met her husband Joe. She has attended HHPC since 2014 and became a member in 2020. In 2019, Christine had the privilege of becoming a stay-at-home mom and now is grateful for the flexibility of serving the church with scheduling. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, being on the beach, exercising and going on adventures with her family.

Michael is a former artist and songwriter that God ironically called into ministry with a passion to help people discover, grow-in, and live out the life-changing grace of Jesus Christ. Prior to joining the team at HHPC, Michael served at North Cincinnati Community for twelve years where he served in a variety of roles, most recently as Lead Pastor. In addition to his work at HHPC, Michael has served as a trainer with Life-On-Life ministries since 2016, through which he equips congregations across the USA to cultivate sustainable disciple-making movements.

When not engaged in the tasks of ministry, he enjoys the outdoors, tackling remodeling projects, and all things having to do with University of Kentucky Basketball.

Michael is married to his better half, Rachel. Together they have four children: Ezra (14), Asher (13), Caleb (11), and Lydia (9).

Jessica is a graduate of the University of South Carolina and holds a B.A. degree in Journalism. Jessica was born and raised in South Carolina. Jessica has over 15 years of marketing experience, most recently working on the marketing and communications team at Hilton Head Christian Academy. Jessica married her college sweetheart, Jacob 17 years ago and they are enjoying living in the lowcountry and raising their two beautiful daughters, Aubrey (12 years old) and Nora (9 years old). Jessica is so humbled God has called her into ministry to serve the children at HHPC! In her free time, Jessica enjoys boating on the river, biking, reading, writing, spending time with family and their dog, River.

Sami attended Clemson University then spent a decade in Charlotte, NC. She moved back to the Lowcountry in 2023 with her husband and two young children to be closer to family. Sami’s career was formerly in development and leadership of client-facing businesses. This ultimately expanded into Sami’s calling to ministry, where she most recently served as the Director of Development for Proverbs 31 Ministries. Her sweet spot is creating strategic opportunities for women to be discipled and transformed by God’s Word to live out their calling as cultivators in whatever space they have been placed.

Born in South Carolina, Bill grew up in Cape Girardeau, MO, before moving to Charlotte, NC when he was 12. He graduated from Presbyterian College in 1990. After a year in commercial banking, he returned to Charlotte where he met Lisa at Forest Hill Church in 1991. They were married in June of 1992 and shortly thereafter Bill entered into ministry.

After studying at Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, MS and graduating with a Master of Divinity in 1996, Bill spent the next several years working with the college and singles ministry at Second Presbyterian Church in Memphis, TN before shifting ministry gears to plant All Saints Presbyterian in the Midtown area of Memphis.

As a “Carolina boy,” the Carolinas were calling, and in 2003, Bill joined the staff at Community Bible Church in Highlands, NC, working with discipleship, marriages, and families. After two years, the Lord led him and his family to Westminster Presbyterian in Rock Hill, SC, where Bill was part of the preaching team and worked with shepherding ministries. He accepted the call of lead pastor at Hilton Head Presbyterian in 2012.

Bill and Lisa have been blessed with three sons: Will lives in Charlotte, NC with his wife Ashton and their sons, Liam and Hampton; Zach lives in Charleston, SC; and Matthew lives in Winston-Salem with his wife, Kate. Bill loves spending time with his family and enjoying all that Lowcountry life has to offer.

Eric joined the staff in January of 2022, bringing a wonderful mix of ministry experience as a former Student Pastor, Community Pastor, and Executive Pastor and a deep love for the church and its flourishing.

He studied at Moody Bible Institute (B.A.), Wheaton College (M.A.), and Westminster Theological Seminary (D.Min.).

Eric and his wife Julie met during their time in grad school at Wheaton and have three children: Kate, Calvin, and Clara. They live in Bluffton with their dog, Knox. In his free time, Eric enjoys golf, grilling, sports, and music.

Josh joined the staff in 2021 as Worship Director.

Josh has a background in music and leading worship and has a passion for Christ and His church. He has been serving in Arizona for the past 15 years, most recently as Pastor of Worship and Formation at Redemption Church Peoria.

Josh and his wife April are both originally from North Carolina and have four children: Emma, Elijah, Luke, and Jude.

Katie was born in Wisconsin, but lived in Champaign, Illinois until she left for college at USC in Columbia. She graduated from USC with a double major in Marketing and Management with a focus on HR. Shortly after graduating, Katie moved to Hilton Head to work in Golf Marketing. She and her husband, John Ross, now live in Hardeeville with their two dogs, Niko and Nigel, and their cat, Korra.

In her free time, Katie loves to read, watch Survivor, or play board/card games with John Ross and friends.

Katie and John Ross have been members at HHPC since January 2021, and Katie joined the staff as Communications Director in July 2022. She has had a passion for the church since becoming involved at a Presbyterian church and with Campus Outreach in college. She loves that she will be able to use this passion coupled with her marketing experience in this role.

Amber was born and raised in Bristol, Connecticut. She and her husband, Mike, and their 2 children, Elizabeth and Emily, moved to the Low Country in the summer of 2020 after touring Hilton Head Christian Academy.

Amber brings 20 years of experience working in a variety of office settings, most recently as Administrative Assistant at a Christian school in CT.

Amber and her family live in Bluffton. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, going to the river or the beach, and cooking with her husband.

Andrew and his wife, Holly, moved to the Lowcountry in 2007, and Andrew has been a ruling elder at HHPC since 2010. Andrew worked at Hargray from 2007 to 2021 in a variety of leadership roles during his time there. Today, he primarily consults with a handful of ministries and for-profit businesses. Andrew is serving in the role of Ministry Director on a part-time (to ensure appropriate time for watching Liverpool Football Club matches...), interim basis while HHPC develops its new long-term strategic plan.

Andrew has four children - Peter, Ellie, Sarah Grace, and Benjamin - and he and Holly have been married since 2001. The Rein family loves the outdoors and is always looking for opportunities to enjoy God's creation. Interim Director of Ministry

Harrison has extensive ministry experience, having served as a missionary in France, a church planter and lead pastor in Charlotte and pastor of discipleship and adult ministry in Annapolis, MD. He also served as a coach and consultant to churches and pastors involved in planting and revitalization. Harrison received his Undergrad in Organizational Mgt/Human Resources from Auburn and UAB then went on to get his MDiv from Birmingham Theological Seminary and DMin from Covenant Theological Seminary.

Prior to ministry, Harrison also ran an assembly line in a factory and a restaurant in Nashville. The last several years in business, he was a consultant in the commercial/industrial HVAC field.

Harrison and his wife, Sandy, have seven children: five are out of college (Beka, Sarah, Nathan and Jon in Charlotte and Hannah in Birmingham) and two are still at home, Abby (18) and Isaac (14). They also have four grandchildren in Charlotte.

Pastor of Leadership Development and Shepherding

Ryan was born in upstate New York, and moved to Phoenix in his young teens. He came to Christ at a youth summer camp, which led to his passion to serve in youth ministry. Before joining the staff at HHPC, he served as a youth intern at churches in Phoenix and St. Louis. He holds an M.Div. from Covenant Theological Seminary.

Ryan’s interests include coffee (he is a former professional barista), sports, pickleball, reading, and watching movies.
